SEEL is currently expanding its management team with a position for a Sales & Marketing Director to accelerate the company’s growth and develop its customer portfolio.
The Company
SEEL, inaugurated in 2023, is an open testing facility for research and development in electromobility and battery technology. Our mission is to support the transformation to sustainable transport by providing a platform where industry, research, and academia can collaborate to innovate and advance the electric transport sector.
Part of the European “IPCEI Batteries” initiative, SEEL supports transport electrification in Sweden and Europe with advanced research infrastructure to ensure safety and innovation in electromobility.
The Role
This is a unique opportunity for someone who wants to combine their business acumen with a passion for technology. The position will be pivotal in shaping and establishing SEEL’s position in the Swedish and European markets, primarily by building and nurturing long-term relationships with new and existing customers. Together with the CEO, you will serve as the public face of the company, actively working to create strong ties with decision-makers in industry, research institutes, and academia.
The position reports to the CEO and is placed at SEEL’s headquarters in Gothenburg.
What You’ll Do
- Proactively drive, develop, and execute the entire sales process from prospecting to active customer engagement.
- Develop and implement strategies and action plans to elevate SEEL’s brand on both national and international level.
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with new and existing customers in various industries and sectors utilizing technology for electrical propulsion.
- Act as an ambassador for SEEL in various external contexts, such as conferences, trade shows, etc.
- Analyze competitors and actively monitor the market to identify societal challenges and new customer needs that could influence the product portfolio.
Your Qualifications
- Extensive experience with a strong track record in advanced B2B sales, focusing on technology, energy, or similar fields. Alternatively, experience in a leading procurement role.
- Proven background from driving complex business negotiations at various organizational levels.
- Commercially oriented with a good understanding of market demands in the technological transition towards electromobility.
- Relevant higher education in technology, economics, or business development, including sales and marketing.
- Fluent in Swedish and English, with experience working internationally
