Product Specialist

The role
Surgical Science brings world class simulators to physicians across the globe. As our new Product and Training Specialist you will be responsible for the following but not limited to:

• Application & Training – educate and train end users on our various simulation platforms.
• Support Sales/Marketing activities (Pre/Post Sale) such as product demonstrations, conferences, and training sessions while emphasizing teaching and key Selling Points based on specific target audiences.
• Work with doctors, clinicians, and industry professionals of every level.
• Provide support and service in coordination with Global Service personnel.
• Understand internal processes and methodologies, gather feedback from the field in concise form and channel it to the relevant functions to facilitate constant improvement. 
• This position requires about 50-60% international travel.

The location for this position is the headquarter in Gothenburg.

Your profile

This person has preferably a dynamic background and experience in technical, clinical, or field training. Prior clinical experience is highly valued, thus allowing the candidate to liaise intelligently with the various medical/clinical and industry professionals we work with. Moreover, this position is fast paced and diverse, so flexibility is important. You are a natural teacher, fast learner, self-disciplined, with high technical capabilities.

More specifically, we are looking for the following profile:

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Familiarity with MIS procedures and medical simulation technologies is highly valued.
• Well-mannered and suave. Able to work in multicultural and geographically distributed environments.
• Self-motivated and proactive with strong organizational skills
• Able to handle multiple projects/tasks and shifting priorities independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong technical and technological adeptness.
• A structured approach to problem solving, handling new challenges with an open mind and an optimistic response.
